Welcome to Sunday. After a grinding harsh week, with ravaged mental health and buttocks, you’ve finally entered this day that awaits you with open arms. What do you mean all days have 24 hours? Sundays are undoubtedly the shortest of all. It is extremely staggering, how half of this day elapses before we acknowledge that Yayy! It’s Sunday! Oops, it’s noon, already?
Just to help you all not to waste another Sunday, worrying about Monday, here are a few Gapshap secrets to having a frolic one.
1. Me time is a must!
In the quest for propelling life, we want to be prolific every moment. However, it is important to step out of these productive shoes and give time to yourself and your mind. For this, it’s very important to spend some time alone. Let’s call it ‘Me Time’. This time should be visceral to you. Focus on what makes you happy. It can be admiring and nurturing your favorite plant, or feeding birds, or it can be listening to your favorite tunes and shaking a leg, even if you have two left feet!
2. Social detoxification
In the presence of integral apps like WhatsApp, Instagram, and LinkedIn, we are bogged down with a plethora of mails, phone calls, and messages. If you try keeping your screen time levels low, you might end up missing a deadline! Sunday can be a propitious day to relax your baggy eyes. If not for the whole day, try to keep your phone on silent or switched off during the first half of the day. You’ll notice a decline in your anxiety levels.
3. Don’t consume the second half of the day
Always, and always keep your second half of Sunday, free! Monday blues are gonna sprawl over your mind like a wave so keep your mind and body relaxed and work-free so that you’re ready for Monday like a warrior.

5. Enjoy a walk
Nothing can beat a splendid walk. Lying down in one place can not only make you feel unworthy but also elevate cortisol levels, which is the main hormone responsible for anxiety. Thus, it’s important to move at regular intervals. Go for a brisk walk, enjoy a badminton tournament with your friend. Who knows a small cricket match might bring out your inner Kohli!
6. Express yourself
Our mind is a very receptive conduit. Hardly do we find time to express what we’ve been feeling. Generally, during weekdays, you’ve got bigger fish to fry so Sundays are best to sit down and let out what you feel. If you’re not good at writing, you can record your voice. - Go for walk together

8. Copyright your Sunday
